The Red River Gorge, Kentucky:

A place of mystique and intrigue to the spring climbing enthusiast. Rhododendron forests capped with ancient red stone along rolling lush hillsides paint a picture of some of the best climbing on the eastern seaboard. Join Wildkine as we explore this amazing place while homing in on sports and traditional climbing techniques, tricks, and one’s personal skill development.

Itinerary: 

Day 1 ARRIVAL DAY: Arrive for the shuttle in Lexington during the afternoon or evening on a Thursday and depart for the Gorge! A short trip through Lexington horse country will bring us to the stunning RRG. We will settle in at camp, smash a feed, and brief for the coming days. 

Day 2 GET THE DUST OFF: Our first day of the workshop! Today is our intro; review basic systems and gauge what we must focus on for the next few days. Today is also simple about mileage...lots of great climbing! After climbing, the team heads back to camp and enjoys a camp-style meal and beats by guides! 

Day 3 FULL BURN: Second day of the workshop! Today, we dive into the details of clipping and falling techniques with plenty of climbing peppered in. Get the burnout on our last full day of climbing! We head back to our camp palace for a night of fun and relaxation under the stars! 

Day 4 EXIT STRATEGY: Our last day! The team climbs until 2 pm, then heads up to Lexington for departure. With new skills learned and froth factory pumping out stoke we say farewell to meet back up again in the gym!
